About surfactant

Ever since the inauguration of our company in 1950, we made steps forward along with customers in the field of surfactants for more than a half of century. At the start of the 21st century, we look back into our footsteps and introduce to you hereafter.

1950	Inaugurated at the present company location. Realizing the outstanding characteristics of the polyoxyethylene-base, ether-type nonionic surfactant, we started production of 100 series, we started production of 500 series and 600 series surfactants.
1961	Omiya Plant started production.
1962	Made a proposal on "Emulsion design using Organic Conception Diagram".
1967	Started development and production of ether-ester type surfactant agents such as GWIS series, RWIS series, etc..
1972	Started development of amino-acid base surfactants Bought 11,000m2 of land in Sayama Industrial Complex.
1973	Obtained a patent of the amino acid based surfactant "AMITER" jointly with Ajinomoto Co. Ltd..
1974	Sayama Plant started production. Started production and sales of amino acid based surfactants "AMITER" and "PYROTER".
1975	Completed transfer from Omiya Plant to Sayama Plant. Obtained a patent of the amino acid based surfactant "PYROTER" jointly with Ajinomoto Co. Ltd..
1990	Started joint development of surfactants with Ajinomoto. Obtained a patent of the amino acid based emollient agent "ELDEW" jointly with Ajinomoto Co. Ltd..
1994	Started production of amino acid based emollient agent "ELDEW CL301, CL-202", and sold through Ajinomoto channels.
1996	Started development and production of amino acid based emollient agent "ELDEW PS-203, PS-304" using the vegetable material of phitosterol, and sold through Ajinomoto channels.
1999	Started to develop and produce the Amino acid based emollient agent “AMITER LG-1600”.
2001	Started to develop and produce the surface active agent “EMALEX DAPE” series.
2002	Started to develop and produce the Amino acid based emollient “AMITER MA-HD”.
2004	Started to develop and produce the Amino acid based emollient agent “ELDEW PS-306” and sold through Ajinomoto Co.,Ltd.
2005	Started to develop and produce the surface active agent “EMALEX GWIS-200EX” series.
2007	Started to develop and produce the Amino acid based emollient agent “ELDEW APS-307” and sold through Ajinomoto Co.,Ltd.
