Nihon Emulsion Co., Ltd. Website is an internet service to support our business such as providing formulation data of the products we offer. To register for membership, your log-in User ID, password, and log-in URL will be sent via Email after approving of your membership registration. However, if any of the conditions listed below may apply, please understand that there is a chance your membership registration may be terminated.

Applying for registration for an individual (someone who cannot be identified as a member of any academic research facility or enterprise.)
Enlisting a free Email account as your mailing address (If it is difficult to confirm the applicant's identity and whereabouts. )
If you work for a competitor of the operating company.

In case there are any uncertainties in your application, there is a chance we may contact the applicant directly. We hope you will understand the prospectus of our Website and consent to our decisions. Surfactants have now become an essential part of our everyday lives, and Nihon Emulsion is determined to continue contributing to our society through the development of surfactant.

Nihon Emulsion Terms and Conditions of Website Membership

Please agree to the Terms of Service as well as the articles listed below before registering for membership.

1．Nihon Emulsion Website Membership
Nihon Emulsion Website Member (hereinafter called "member" )is the collective term of membership organization sought by Nihon Emulsion (hereinafter called the "company") on the internet. Web page for members (hereinafter called "Member Web page") may allow members to download product catalogues and formulation data files (hereinafter called "Services").Furthermore, members are required to comply with the Terms of Service, so please note that you fully understand the Terms of Service before applying for membership.

2．Modification of Terms of Service
The company may change, add, or delete any articles in this Terms of Service without prior notice to any members. In changing any articles, the company will update the renewed Terms of Services on its Web page, and as soon as the page is updated the new articles will take effect and be presumed to have been approved by all members.

3．Registration of Membership Information
Upon Membership registration, all membership information will be registered as well to ensure the smooth delivery of our Services and a seamless response to any inquiries.

4．Purpose of Utilization of Membership Information
The personal information such as your name(or name of company), address, and/or telephone number you have registered(hereinafter called "personal information") will only be used to deliver requested sample products and documents, to conduct surveys to improve the service we provide, to deliver information via telephone/newsletter/Email, and to whatever means considered as necessary in accordance with this Terms of Service. The company will handle all personal information with utmost attention and will not release this information to any third party unless required by the Terms of Service or any legal regulation.

5．Modification of Personal Information
If a member needs to change any article of personal information, he/she must promptly do so in accordance with the instructions listed on the member Web page. The company will not be held responsible for any inconveniences caused by the delay in reporting the change.

6．Registration Fee/ Membership Fee
No Registration fees or membership fees are required.

7．Management of Log-in IDs and Passwords
The members will be held accountable for management and usage of his/her Log-in ID and password. In case of any misconduct or misapplication by a third party, the company will not be held responsible and the member will bear all responsibility.
Also, a member should never lend, sell, or sublet his/her Log-in ID and/or password, and if such a case should occur, or suspect any misconduct by a third party, the member must notify the company immediately.

8．Modification of Service
The company may change the content or name of the Service without prior notice to any members. The company will not be held accountable for any disadvantage to a member or a third person caused by the change unless it is stated in this Terms of Service.

9．Prohibiting Lending/subletting of Rights
All members should not lend, sell, or sublet the rights to the Service to a third party.

10．Prohibited Matter
Members should never conduct the following acts:
1）any act deviating from the normal usage of Service.
2）any act that may cause trouble to another member.
3）any act that may interfere with or have any risk of interfering with operation of the Company.
4）any act that may violate or have any risk of violating the Trademark, copyright, privacy, or any other rights of another.
5）any false information was used in the registration of membership.
6）ordering(returning or exchanging) a product using any false information, or ordering using a third person's identification, or taking part in any action that may  support such misconduct.
7）Request any samples or place an order with an intent to sell.
8）Unauthorized use of the personal information of a third party.
9）any act the company may consider as inappropriate.

11．Cancellation of Membership
If you wish to cancel your membership, follow the instructions listed on the member Web page and be sure to cancel your membership yourself. After one full year without any access to My Page, or we were unable to deliver your newsletter for one full year, your membership will be terminated. Information of canceled members will be deleted in accordance with the company's Privacy Policy.

12．Logging into a Computer Website
In order to log- in to My Page as well as managing post- login sessions, cookies are used. In order to gain full access to our Service, make sure to enable cookies on your browser.

13．Termination of Service
If a member has violated any article in the Terms of Service, or may have any risk of violating the Terms of Service, the company will terminate all Services.

14．Discontinuance or Restriction of Membership Service
The company will discontinue all services without any prior notice to members in case of unexpected circumstances as listed below:
1）Requiring regular or emergency maintenance of hardware and/or software.
2）Unable to provide service due to an earthquake, fire, flooding, volcanic eruption, or power outage.
3）Unable to provide service due to War, convulsion, or riot.
4）the company finds it is unable to provide services for operational and/or technical reasons.

15．Disclaimer
This article meets the disclaimer clause set forth in the company's Web page.

16．Applicable Law
All articles on this Web page including wars and riots shall respect all applicable laws of the country of Japan and the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive primary jurisdiction with respect to all disputes arising with respect thereto.

All personal information will be handled with utmost attention, and will not be accessed or released to a third party unless the member himself/herself agrees to do so.
